THERE IS NOTHING ACCIDENTAL ABOUT A WELL EXECUTED DRAWING

And, the fact is we challenge 80% of our visual understanding within the first 20% of the drawing process. Considering this, each program places much emphasis on interpreting and understanding how you see opposed to merely copying what you see. This approach effectively equips you, the student, to work directly from life with great confidence. Once you become familiar and fluent with underlying visual principles, your intuitive expression will reveal a strong sense of accuracy, emotion and freedom. Key studies include:

PORTRAIT & FIGURE DRAWING

STRUCTURAL AND SURFACE ANATOMY

MEASURING TECHNIQUES

LIGHT FORM VALUE PATTERNS & EDGES

LINE & MASS FINISHING TECHNIQUES

COMPOSITION TECHNIQUES

PERSPECTIVE AND SPATIAL RECESSION

19th CENTURY FRENCH ACADEMY

MASTER COPY STUDIES

SCULPTURE DRAWING
